What data we process
- Browsing data. The server hosting the site records, for technical and security reasons, data such as IP address, date and time of the visit and the page requested.
- Messages on Telegram and WhatsApp. The site has no contact forms. If you write to us through the buttons, we receive the data you send (name or username, phone number, message content).
- No profiling. We use no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts and scripts are hosted on our own server: the site loads nothing from Google or other third parties.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To answer your messages and organise the photo session you ask for: pre-contractual steps and contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To protect the site from abuse and attacks through server logs: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Telegram and WhatsApp
The buttons open third-party apps with their own privacy rules: Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC, with servers also outside the European Union) and WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.). Please read their privacy notices before writing to us.
How long we keep data
We keep messages as long as needed to handle your request and the session, then delete them unless the law requires otherwise. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for the technical period needed for security.
Who receives the data
The site’s hosting provider (Hostinger), which processes data on our behalf. We do not sell or pass your data to anyone else.
Photos of clients
The people shown on this site are our clients and agreed to the publication; for minors, their parents agreed. If you appear in a photo and want it removed, write to kate.photo.it@gmail.com: we take it down without asking why.
Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to kate.photo.it@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
